Atelier ‘Brenda’ is a restless female designer who lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. Born in Ghent in 2012, she is the merged alter ego of two independent creative directors—Nana Esi and Sophie Keij—whose body of work is characterised by the spontaneous nature of design and the dynamic interplay between the conscious and the subconscious. In her practice, she continuously seeks to explore and deepen her understanding of the murky world we live in, engaged by surpassing disciplines and tweaking reality.
